Josh Maja has completed his move to Ligue 1 club Le Havre on a free transfer, the Super Eagles confirmed on their official social media account on Friday.
“Josh Maja has joined Ligue 1 side Le Havre from West Brom. Wishing him all the best in this new chapter,” the Super Eagles’ account wrote, confirming the move.
The 27 year old had been a free agent since leaving Sky Bet Championship club West Bromwich Albion last month, following the expiration of his contract after turning down a new deal from the Hawthorns.

Maja is set to sign a two year contract with the option of a further year at Le Havre, who identified the Nigerian forward as a key addition to their attack following the departure of Issa Soumare to fellow Ligue 1 side Rennes.
The move gives Maja a fresh opportunity in French top flight football, following a career that has included spells in the English Championship and other European leagues.
Nigerian football followers will be watching closely to see how Maja settles into Ligue 1 football, with the striker expected to link up with his new club ahead of preseason preparations.
