STOCKHOLM — Nigerian youngster Zadok Yohanna has attracted serious Premier League interest following his impressive performances for AIK in Sweden’s Allsvenskan. PM News confirmed on Thursday that both Newcastle United and Brighton and Hove Albion are among the clubs tracking the young Nigerian forward.
Yohanna has been one of the most exciting young Nigerian footballers in European football this season. His pace, directness, and eye for goal have made him a standout performer in Swedish football. The interest from two established Premier League clubs signals that his potential is being recognised at the highest levels of European football.
Brighton are known for their sophisticated scouting operation and their willingness to invest in young talent with high development potential. Newcastle, backed by Saudi investment, are building a squad capable of competing at the top of the Premier League and in European competition. Both clubs represent excellent potential next steps for Yohanna.

Super Eagles Implication
Yohanna’s potential move to the Premier League would have significant implications for the Super Eagles. A player competing regularly at Premier League level has better international exposure and a higher platform from which to make his case for national team selection. Coach Eric Chelle has been monitoring Yohanna’s development closely.
Earlier reports had suggested that Yohanna may have suffered a more serious injury than initially disclosed during the AIK season. If he is fit and performs well in the Premier League, his Super Eagles prospects are excellent. If the injury concern proves serious, his timeline could be affected.
