A violent clash between the security details of Nigerian music star Davido and suspected hoodlums at a palace in Osun State has left one person dead and several others injured.
The incident occurred during Davido’s visit to the palace of a traditional ruler in Osogbo, where he was scheduled to pay homage. Witnesses said tension escalated when hoodlums attempted to disrupt the gathering, leading to a confrontation with the singer’s security team.
Gunshots were reportedly fired as the situation spiraled out of control, forcing guests and residents to flee the palace premises. Security operatives attached to Davido engaged the attackers in an effort to protect the artist and his entourage.
