The Operation
In a swift intelligence-led operation, the Bauchi State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has apprehended two suspects allegedly involved in railway infrastructure vandalism. The arrest occurred on Tuesday in Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area following credible tip-offs.

The Seizure
Operatives intercepted:
• A white Peugeot J5 bus (Registration: KTG 40 XF)
• 80 pieces of vandalized railway sleepers
• 4 bags of charcoal (potential concealment tactic)

State Commandant Oloyede Oyerinde:

    “These arrests demonstrate our zero-tolerance for infrastructure sabotage. We’ll continue to work with communities to secure national assets,” Oyerinde stated.
